The Position: Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

The MD/CEO will serve as the chief executive officer, responsible for the strategic direction, operational efficiency, financial performance, and overall success of SSGC. The role requires supreme responsibility for the company's transformation, revenue streams, and image building. The successful candidate will report to the Board, provide strategic leadership, and implement reforms under the Board's supervision.

You Should Have...

The ideal candidate must meet the following minimum criteria:

 Education: A graduate degree in Engineering or Economics or Energy Management or Engineering Management or Finance or Accountancy or Business Administration or Law from a reputable university/institution recognized/accredited by HEC. Preference will be given to post-graduates.

 Experience: A minimum of 20 years of (post qualification) experience in large organizations, with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a corporate position.

 Skills: The candidate must possess a proven track record of strong strategic leadership, technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep knowledge of the oil and gas sector. They must demonstrate clear vision, big-picture thinking, strong ability to translate strategies into action, and high levels of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and team-building skills. Experience in change management, organizational restructuring, succession planning, and excellent communication skills are also essential.
